Gorbals, Glasgow born goalkeeper Kenneth Anderson made his debut for Scottish amateur club Queen’s Park  in a Scottish Cup tie at Glasgow Celtic in November 1894 and played a year later as Celtic again beat Queen’s Park in The Glasgow Cup Final. He made his Glasgow League debut in February 1896, and was on the losing side in The Merchant’s Charity Cup Final at Ibrox Park in May 1896, both matches again against Celtic. From January 1898 he played more regularly for The Spiders, however he played his last match of 34 appearances for Queen’s Park in November 1898, when they beat Rangers 1-0 in The Glasgow Cup Final. Sadly he died aged only 25 in August 1900.
