Description
Goalkeeper Robert George Cameron Peden was born in St Andrews, Fife in 1906 and played football for St Andrews University. He then played 10 Scottish League matches for East Fife in 1927-28 before joining Glasgow amateur club Queen’s Park in the 1928 close season. Described at the time as “a clever and capable ‘keeper” he made his debut for Queens Park in August 1928, making 113 Scottish League First Division and Scottish Cup appearances for The Spiders through to January 1932. He subsequently played one match for Dundee in 1933-34. He was a Scottish Amateur international, winning 6 caps between 1929 and 1931.
