Lambeth, London born inside left Vivian Rowe was an amateur footballer who joined Wimbledon in 1921 and played three seasons before playing briefly for Dulwich Hamlet, from there being transferred to Brentford in late 1924, making his Football League debut at Brighton & Hove Albion in December 1924, playing alongside older brother Ronnie. He played 4 matches through to the end of January 1925 scoring in a 2-2 draw against Southend on January 10th 1925 before joining Athenian League club Hampstead later in 1925, where he scored 8 goals in 16 appearances returning to play for Wimbledon in 1927. Rowe made a further Athenian League appearance for Hampstead in their 1932-33 campaign before his eventual retirement.
