Description
Glasgow born outside left Robert Terris played for junior clubs Bowhill Thistle and Lumphinnans before he joined Falkirk in August 1910. He had nearly four seasons at Brockville Park and helped Falkirk to win The Scottish Cup for the first time in their history in 1913, defeating Raith Rovers 2-0 in the Final at Celtic Park.
He transferred to Liverpool in February 1914 for what was rumoured to be a substantial fee but never made the first team at Anfield before The First World War saw his return to Scotland where he played for Bowhill Thistle once again in 1919. He later emigrated to the United States to play in the nascent American Soccer League and played for Bethlehem Steel in 1922-23.
