Luton, Bedfordshire born inside right Arthur Seabrook began his football career with Luton Clarence in 1920 before joining Third Division (South) club Northampton Town in 1921, making his Football League debut at Millwall that August. The highlight of his Northampton career was a hat-trick against Southend United in March 1924 but he left The Cobblers soon after to join Halifax Town in the 1924 close season after 9 goals in 38 appearances.
He scored twice on his debut against Wrexham in August 1924 and was a regular goalscorer for The Shaymen, bagging 37 goals in 106 appearances over four seasons for them before moving to Crewe Alexandra in the 1928 close season, where he scored 7 times in 35 appearances in their 1928-29 campaign. A move to Stockport County in 1929 saw him score once in 3 autumn appearances before he retired from professional football.
