Description

Dennistoun, Glasgow born Edward Scott was an outside or inside forward who could play across the line who first signed for Scottish League amateur club Queen’s Park in 1920, making his Scottish League debut against St Mirren that August, scoring in a 2-2 draw at Hampden Park. He was a regular through to the end of the 1928-29 season, scoring 27 goals for The Spiders in 165 Scottish League and Cup appearances, including a hat-trick against Arbroath in March 1923 as Queen’s gained immediate promotion back to the top flight after their relegation in 1922.
