Forward William McLintock had a relatively brief career that was completely upended by the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939. Signed by St Mirren from Dunipace Juniors in March 1938, McLintock scored 26 goals in 51 matches for The Buddies before the conflict, and he was released by the club in October 1941. He didn’t seemingly resume his career after the War. Full biography to follow.
