Description
Left half Andrew Mair signed for Dumbarton in August 1921 and made his Scottish League debut in a 4-0 defeat at Glasgow Celtic in early September, the first of five appearances Mair would make for The Sons in his debut season. He broke into the first team on a regular basis from the start of 1922-23 and spent five seasons as a fixture in their line up, however he lost his place at the start of 1927-28 and played only 6 times during the season, making his final appearance for Dumbarton in February 1928. He left the club at the end of the season, having scored 12 goals in 187 appearances. His career after Dumbarton is uncertain.
