Description

Musselburgh, Lothian born inside forward Hugh Jordan started his football career with Scottish League Falkirk in 1929, before moving south to join Third Division (South) Norwich City in 1930. He made his Football League debut against Notts County in September 1930, and scored 3 goals in 20 appearances during the 1930-31 season before joining non league Margate in 1931.

But he is best known for his time in France, which during the 1930’s was a very popular place for British players to play professionally, where he achieved significant success with the likes of Stade de Riems, Olympique Dunkerque, and Racing Club de Paris.
