Description
Little is known about the football career of inside left Peter Halleron, who signed for Scottish First Division club Dumbarton in December 1921. He made his debut in a home defeat to St Mirren in February 1922 and scored 4 goals in 10 appearances for The Sons in his debut season, perhaps most notably netting as Dumbarton beat Heart of Midlothian 3-2 in April, having also scored in a 3-2 win over Motherwell three days earlier, although he couldn’t help save Dumbarton from relegation at the season end. The following season he only made 7 appearances in the Second Division across their 1922-23 campaign, scoring once, and he appears to have been released by Dumbarton in May 1923. There are no indications as to his football career thereafter. Full biography to follow.
