Description
Born in St Albans, Hertfordshire, centre half Henry Hankey had a brief senior football career with Third Division (South) club Millwall, making his Football League debut at Luton Town in December 1922, playing his first two matches at centre half and a further game within the week at right half before losing his place. He made one further appearance at Northampton Town at the end of March, playing at right back, and only managed two further appearances in the autumn of 1923, playing at left half, his 6 matches for The Lions being the extent of his senior career.
