Bristol born outside right played football for St Philip’s Adult School before signing for hometown Third Division (South) club Bristol City in the 1922 close season, making his Football League debut in the derby against Bristol Rovers that September, immediately establishing himself as a regular in The Robins’ first team as they went on to win the 1923 Third Division (South) Championship.

At the higher level he lost his place in October before returning to the side in March 1924 but couldn’t help them avoid immediate relegation, From the start of the new season Worlock played in all of Bristol City’s matches through to the end of January before losing his place, playing only twice more for them in April as they finished third in the Third Division (South). He joined Bradford Park Avenue in the summer of 1925 after 9 goals in 77 appearances for Bristol City, but he failed to get into their first eleven as a strong Avenue team finished runners up in the Third Division (North). His career after leaving Park Avenue is uncertain.
