Half back Dan Pellatt scored 4 goals in 50 appearances for Southern League New Brompton (now Gillingham) between 1894 and 1897. 1894-95 was the first season in which New Brompton competed in a League competition, the newly formed Second Division of the Southern League, and Pellatt scored once in 13 League and FA Cup appearances during the campaign, making one other appearance, a Test Match against Swindon Town in April 1895 which New Brompton won 5-1 to gain promotion to the First Division at the first attempt, having won 11 of their 12 League matches (Pellatt missing only one fixture).
