Juffulpore, India born inside right or centre forward Jimmy Pass began his senior football career with Second Division club Stockport County, for whom he made his Football League debut against Bristol City in October 1903, scoring his first goal in a defeat at Manchester United a week later. In their 1906-07 campaign he was The Hatters’ joint top scorer (with Fred Crump) with 11 goals and he was then signed by Southern League club Tottenham Hotspur in the 1907 close season after 19 goals in 66 matches for Stockport. He had a single season at White Hart Lane when he was Tottenham’s leading goalscorer with 11 goals from 28 matches, but he then joined New Brompton (now Gillingham) in 1908, and his career thereafter is uncertain.
