Outside left David Munro began his football career with Glasgow junior club Petershill, from where he joined Scottish League club Third Lanark in 1904. He was not involved in The Warrior’s 1905 Scottish Cup win, and in 1907 he joined First Division club Notts County in 1907, making his Football League debut at Woolwich Arsenal that September, scoring in a 1-1 draw. He played another 13 matches for The Magpies through to February 1908 without scoring any further goals, and left Trent Bridge to join Irish League club Glentoran in the 1908 close season, his last recorded club.
