Little is known of centre half Jimmy Morgan, who made his Scottish League debut for Scottish Second Division club Dundee in a 5-5 draw with Montrose in April 1939. At the start of the 1939-40 season he played all 4 matches before the outbreak of the Second World War forced the abandonment of peacetime football in September 1939, and during the War he scored once in 25 matches for The Dees during the remainder of the 1939-40 season and played one match during their 1944-45 campaign.
