Dalry, Ayrshire born wing half Bob Millar started his football career with hometown junior club Dalry Thistle in 1919 and joined Third Division (South) Luton Town in 1920, playing once in their inaugural Football League season when he made his League debut against Newport County towards the end of the campaign in April 1921. Initially a fringe player for his first three seasons at Kenilworth Road, from August 1923 he established himself as a regular in the first team and thereafter he featured throughout the 1920’s, scoring 4 goals in 213 games for The Hatters before joining Irish League club Belfast Celtic in 1930.
