Description
Right winger David Lindsay joined St Mirren in December 1899 scoring 38 goals in 98 appearances, and it was while with The Buddies that he earned his single Scottish international cap when in March 1903 he played in a 2-0 defeat to Ireland at Parkhead. He joined Heart of Midlothian in March 1905, making his Hearts debut in the derby at Hibernian in August 1905. He scored 3 goals in 22 appearances for Hearts before moving south to join Southern League West Ham United in 1906, where he scored 4 goals in 53 appearances during a two season stay in East London. He returned to Scotland in 1908 and finished his career with Leith Athletic.
