Little is known about this player, whose surname could have been spelt Herron or Heron. What is known is that he was a goalkeeper who made his debut for Kilmarnock in a Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren in February 1922. He went on to play regularly for Killie until the following November, when he was displaced after a series of defeats in October and November, having made a total of 28 appearances for Kilmarnock.
