Lewisham, London born outside left Charlie Harris began his football career playing for Isthmian League amateur club Nunhead, with whom he won the London Senior Cup in 1923. He joined Third Division (South) Millwall in the summer of 1925, making his Football League debut in an 8-1 thrashing of Southend United that September. He played 10 times for The Lions before the New Year but only appeared once in 1926-27, making a final appearance for Millwall in a 1-1 draw at Luton in February 1928, his only appearance of the season as Millwall won the Third Division (South) Championship. His later career post Millwall is uncertain.
