South Shields, County Durham born centre forward Thomas Graham began his senior football career with Second Division Barnsley, for whom he made his Football League debut and only appearance at Manchester City in March 1910 in a 0-0 draw at Hyde Road. Released, he joined Midland League club Castleford Town in the 1910 close season before a move to Southern League Brentford a year later, where he stayed two seasons, scoring 4 goals in 18 appearances for The Bees before a return to Castleford Town in 1913.

The onset of the First World War in effect ended his career, however he returned to Brentford to play 4 wartime league matches for them in 1917, his last known football appearances.
