Description
Padiham, Lancashire born right back Harry Davy began his football career with Padiham in 1890 and played for Heywood Central in 1891 before joining Blackpool in 1892, at that time still a Lancashire League club. In his first season at the club Blackpool finished Lancashire League champions, and Davy stayed three years in total before joining Second Division Leicester Fosse in the summer of 1895. He made his Football League debut that September against Burton Swifts and proceeded to make 56 appearances for The Fossils over the next two seasons before joining Southern League Bristol City in 1897, the final club in his senior career.
