Description

West Bridgford born wing half Jim Bulling was on Nottingham Forest’s books during 1926-27 without making their first eleven, and played for Shirebrook in 1928, before signing for First Division Leicester City in 1930, for whom he made his Football League debut at Liverpool that November. He made 12 appearances for Leicester before joining Wrexham in the close season of 1932, and he enjoyed 4 seasons at The Racecourse Ground scoring 4 times in 130 appearances before joining non league Shrewsbury Town in 1936.

His uncle, Harry Bulling, played for Nottingham Forest and Watford. Harry also had 2 brothers, Cecil “Chris” who played for Watford and Evelyn “Ed” who played for Tottenham, although it’s uncertain which of the brothers was Jim’s father.
