Description
Annesley, Nottinghamshire born full back Percy Barratt joined Annesley St Albans after the First World War before joining Second Division club Nottingham Forest in 1919, for whom he made his Football League debut against Stockport County in September 1919. After 21 matches in 1919-20 he struggled for a place in the Forest first eleven until 1924, whereafter he was a regular starter for five seasons, playing his final match of 230 appearances in April 1930, having scored 17 times of which 15 were from the penalty spot. In 1930 he joined Midland League club Grantham, his last known club before his retirement.
