Bellshill, Lanarkshire born right half Tommy Robb joined Kirkintilloch Harp in 1919 before spending much of 1919-20 with First Division Bradford City without making a first team appearance for The Bantams, returning to Scotland in 1920 to play for Bathgate. He returned to Bradford City in 1921, making his Football League debut at Burnley that September and scoring his only goal in a 3-2 win over Aston Villa in November, after 12 appearances through to January he returned to Bathgate early in 1922 before joining Hamilton Academical in the 1922 close season. A year later he joined the stream of players heading to America to play in the nascent American Soccer League, joining New York Giants, his last known club.
