Description
This photograph heralds the arrival of the start of arguably the greatest era in Newcastle United’s history, the team photograph featuring the likes of Jock Rutherford, Colin Veitch, Jack Carr and Peter McWilliam who would be so important to the team’s success over the following decade. Having finished 5th, 6th and 3rd in the previous three seasons, as the new arrivals replaced the core of those teams they would build to their first League Championship triumph in 1905.
