Glasgow born wing half Jim Miller started his football career with Maryhill Juniors before joining Scottish League Raith Rovers in 1923, joining East Fife in 1926. However he didn’t play in East Fife’s Scottish Cup Final appearance of 1927, and joined Dumbarton in the close season, scoring 4 times in 109 appearances over the next three seasons.
He joined Second Division Swansea Town in the summer of 1930, making his Football League debut against Bury that September, and stayed four seasons at The Vetch Field scoring twice in 141 appearances for The Swans, before a move to Millwall in the 1934 close season. His single season at The Den produced 3 goals in 37 appearances for The Lions, before he returned to Scotland to join Hibernian. He stayed at Easter Road until the Second World War, and after the War finished his career with spells with Dunfermline Athletic in 1945, Albion Rovers in 1946 and Cowdenbeath in 1947 before retirement.
