Dublin born wing half Terry Kavanagh played for Drumcondra in 1931 before joining Cheshire County League Wigan Athletic in 1933. He spent 1933-34 on the books of Everton but didn’t make a first team appearance, and joined Notts County in 1936, for whom he made his Football League debut against Crystal Palace in September 1936, playing twice more for County that autumn.
He joined Exeter City in the 1937 close season, coincidentally making his debut at Notts County that September, but he made only 7 first team appearances for The Grecians before being released in 1938.
