Description
Lisburn, County Antrim born wing half Alf Jordan played junior football for Willowfield in 1922 before joining Second Division Stoke, for whom he made his Football League debut against Sheffield Wednesday in December 1923. He made only one further appearance for Stoke before joining Hull City in the 1924 close season, being largely a fringe player at Boothferry Park, making 9 appearances over the next 2 seasons. He then joined Bristol Rovers in 1926, however he didn’t make a first team appearance before moving into non league football with Worcester City in 1927, subsequently returning to Ireland to join Dundalk in 1928, later playing for Barton Town in 1929.
