Bathgate, Lothian born centre forward Thomas Greer began his football career with Coatbridge Rob Roy from where he was signed by Second Division Birmingham in December 1910, making his Football League debut against Burnley in January 1911, his only appearance of his debut season. He made one further appearance for Birmingham in a home defeat to Barnsley in September 1911 before joining Southern League club Reading in August 1912, where he played for a single season before joining Swansea Town in 1913. His career thereafter is uncertain.
