Willie Duncan was a goalkeeper who signed for St Mirren from Airdrieonians in December 1910 after he had “served his club well for a good many seasons” as Airdrie’s goalkeeper. Described as “one of the safest custodians in Scotland”, after 46 appearances for The Buddies he returned to join Airdrieonians in May 1912. Full biography to follow.
NB although this image was published in 1912 while Duncan was at St Mirren, it is the same image as his 1909 Airdrieonians image.
